Cold water swimming - Pre water safety talk and swim

Are you new to cold water swimming, or perhaps would like to know more about how to look after your body in cold water and other safety measures you can put in place?

Every Sunday we will be running our introduction to cold water talk and swim. We will cover several aspects of safety including what to bring with you, how long to spend in the water and give you an understanding of how your body reacts to those chilly temperatures.

All lifeguards are fully trained and acclimatised and are on hand throughout the session to help you with your cold water experience.

The cost of this is £12 which covers the talk from 8:30-9am, followed by a swim and a lovely hot drink from our tuck shop.

Please book in advance for this, so we know how many people to expect.
